Halloween’s over and yes we’re already on to thinking about the next big holiday season, Christmas!!

Specifically the festivities kick off at Chatswood Chase Sydney with the arrival of Santa and friends at the centre on Saturday 16 November.

John Klein, of Chatswood Chase, revealed that visitors can expect, “A full day of family activities including:  Santa’s arrival parade with a marching band and Christmas characters, gingerbread decorating, Santa’s workshop, bouncing elves, carollers, The Sleigh Belles and a full Christmas show entitled Clara and the Nutcracker plus more!”

Santa’s special parade will launch proceedings at 10am, with a full day of festive fun running until 5pm.

Every level of the Centre will come alive with the sound of Christmas, so look out for elves on stilts and singing angels roaming the halls!

Of course it wouldn’t be a Santa occasion without the opportunity for pictures with the jolly man in red and from 1pm in Centre Court, families are invited to meet Santa and snap some photos. Book online at chatswoodchasesydney.com.au to skip the queue.

As an added bonus, parents can enjoy an hour of kid-free shopping as from 18 November to 24 December the centre are providing one hour free short-term child minding.

And once you’ve picked out the perfect presents for all those family members and friends, from 13 December Chatswood Chase Sydney will provide complimentary gift wrapping in-centre to make this Christmas a breeze!


Centre childminding services will be available from 10am – 2pm from Monday to Friday and is open to 3-5 year old children.  The first hour is free.  The activities that will be available include dress-ups, craft activities and puzzles etc.
