Disney does 2019

Between some delicious live action remakes and sequels that will have the littles in your life jumping for joy, 2019 is shaping up to be a bumper year as far as Disney movies are concerned.

Welcome to the circus baby Dumbo! See the film, flying into cinemas March 28 From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure "Dumbo" expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight.

Next month brings us the live action version of DUMBO, the tale of a little elephant with an extraordinary talent. Starring the likes of Danny Devito, Colin Farrell and Eva Green, this adaption takes the premise of the original movie (1941) and transforms it into a fantastical wonderland immersed in the world of circus. Expect music and a rich feast for the senses as the elephant who can fly soars onto our screens from 28 March.

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney's animated classic, "Aladdin" is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.

Guy Ritchie has revamped one of my favourite Disney movies for a 2019 audience with a live action ALADDIN starring Will Smith as the Genie. Due to hit cinemas on 23 May, I for one am dying to see how the animated classic is recast to bring the city of Agrabah and its inhabitants to life!

Oh Mr Noah is going to lose his shizzle when he finds out a new installment of Toy Story is hitting cinemas this year. 20 June to be exact and what an adventure lies in store… old faces return and more missions abound as Woody, Buzz, Jesse and their friends come out to play once more in TOY STORY 4.

Disney's The Lion King opens in theatres July 19, 2019. From Disney Live Action, director Jon Favreau's all-new "The Lion King" journeys to the African savanna where a future king must overcome betrayal and tragedy to assume his rightful place on Pride Rock.

He was the man who recreated The Jungle Book with CGI and director Jon Favreau is back with his second helping of live action animal-tastic Disney remakes as he turns his hand to a young lion cub and his kingdom. THE LION KING will roar into cinemas on 17 July.
