Rainbocorns

It’s the Christmas of the collectible!! Zuru Toys have one to add to the mix and it comes in a giant egg, complete with unicorn horn. The RAINBOCORNS have landed and they can’t wait to share their sequin surprise with you!!

Delivering mystery and magic, each giant egg contains a hidden plush surprise toy with a secret. I love the way the Rainbocorns range takes inspiration from the classic children’s party game, ‘pass the parcel’ in its design as with each layer unwrapped there is another treat waiting to be found. First is the sequinned heart, visible from the outside, which reveals a hidden message when you swipe the sequins up. This offers a clue as to which Rainbocorn is inside. The heart snaps away from the egg once it’s cracked open so snap it back onto your Rainbocorn once it emerges.

Rainbocorn instructions

Each Rainbocorn also comes with a little instruction manual, shaped like an egg, which guides you in how to use your sequin surprise. With a bone as our clue, we were thrilled to discover we got Scruff!!

Like us you may be so enamoured with your Rainbocorn that you discard the egg into the wrapping paper fray in your rush to start playing with its cute and cuddly contents and thus miss the bonus treat still left inside.

We almost missed the teeny purple egg that our Rainbocorn had been hiding beneath his soft blue fur and had it not been for the instructions, our little Boo-Boocorn would have remained a mystery. One of these little side-kicks comes in every Rainbocorn egg, and a few lucky people may discover that they have the rare twin Boo-Boocorns!

Collect them all…

There are 12 Rainbocorns to collect and tick off in your instruction manual. There are also 22 Boo-Boocorns to be found, from Hamsters and Puppies to Monkies, Unicorns and Bunnies in all different colours. We got the blue Boo-Boo Kitty!

The inclusion of the Boo-Boocorns does mean though that this toy is not recommended for children under 3.

Rainbocorns by Zuru are $34.99 each and are available to buy from Big W, Kmart and Target.
